Technical Inspectors Wanted

NFRC Competent Person Scheme is a government approved, UKAS accredited scheme covering England and Wales. Through a strict vetting process, the Scheme allows roofing contractors to self-certify that their refurbishment work meets the requirements of Approved Document L1B of the Building Regulations without having to obtain local authority building control sign-off.

As part of our ongoing development of technical inspection services, we are seeking independent roofing professionals to assist the existing team of inspectors in delivering our audit and inspection services.

The main purpose of the role is to undertake site-based technical assessments and office audits of registered contractors to ensure their compliance to industry standards, building regulations and compliance with their terms and conditions of membership.

As a minimum requirement, you will hold a NVQ Level 2/3 in either one or more of the following roofing disciplines;

• roof slating and tiling,
• flat roofing
• sheeting and cladding.

We are currently recruiting across the UK including Scotland and Northern Ireland.
