To support the introduction of the new Mandatory Technical Competencies (MTC) framework, NFRC CPS have been investing in new technology to support Contractors in meeting these new requirements.
The first in a series of tools being introduced to streamline how we manage and administer competency data is a new inspection management platform called Joblogic.
Joblogic is a dedicated inspection scheduling and field management system that will allow us to manage inspections more efficiently from booking through to completion. Rather than changing the inspection process itself, the platform will improve the way inspections are coordinated, allocated and monitored, ensuring a smoother experience for both contractors and inspectors.
The new platform will enable us to:
- Schedule inspections more efficiently, reducing administrative delays.
- Allocate inspections to the most appropriate inspector based on location, availability and technical competence.
- Provide inspectors with digital inspection information before attending site, reducing paperwork and improving consistency.
- Improve communication and visibility throughout the inspection process.
- Capture inspection information securely and accurately, supporting regulatory compliance and audit requirements.
- Create a scalable platform that supports the continued growth of both NFRC and the Competent Person Scheme.
For contractors, this means a more streamlined inspection process, quicker administration, improved communication and a more responsive service, whilst maintaining the high technical standards and impartiality expected of NFRC inspections.
From this week, you will start to receive automated inspection-related notifications from Joblogic, from the following email address: [email protected]. Please add this to your safe senders list.
You don’t need to take any action, and this will not affect your current or upcoming inspections. We will continue to keep you updated as further changes are introduced.
