NFRC Competent Person Scheme is expanding its network of freelance Technical Inspectors as we strengthen our role in supporting competence, compliance and high standards across the roofing industry.
If you’ve built up years of technical knowledge and experience on-site, this is an opportunity to put that expertise to work in a new way, helping assess contractors, support good workmanship and strengthen standards across the sector.
What’s the role?
As an NFRC CPS Inspector, you’ll play a key role in assessing the competence and compliance of our Scheme members and wider trade body members.
This includes assessing workmanship, reviewing evidence of competence, verifying compliance with relevant standards and requirements, and ensuring installations meet current Building Regulations.
We’re looking for experienced roofing professionals with relevant roofing qualifications, strong technical knowledge and significant industry experience. Experience in competence assessment, inspection or quality assurance would be an advantage.
